dressed for the long rains
The kids call this my blue banana, thank you Caryl A for it! I wear it with my big black "gumboots" I got for 350 shilllings (about $5) everyone loves it and covets it! This is the only way to stay dry and upright in all the mud.
I am a pediatric nurse at UW Hospital in Madison Wi. I am married to Tim, have 3 children: Elizabeth is a teacher married to Brandon, mother of Jack and Emma, and caregivers of the best dog with kids golden retriever Finley; Ali, is a medical student at the UW School of Medicine and Public Health; Timmy (Officer Tim),a police officer married to Liz,a teacher and are caregivers to a delightful beagle named Bailey. I received a Fulbright grant and lived in Kenya for 10 months working at Nyumbani Children's Home, an orphanage for HIV+ children.
